Lay movements and associations in Lille

No sooner did I post my previous article on the Perth Archdiocesan Assembly and proposed Archdiocesan Pastoral Council than I saw the video below on the recent “Lay Apostolate Day” held in the French Diocese of Lille.

It’s only available in French, sadly. However, as Sophie Ernst, the diocesan delegate for movements and associations notes (photo above), around 80 such groups ranging from national movements, such as Caritas and the YCW, to small fraternities, took part in the day.

A great example of a diocese that gives priority to developing an eco-system of lay apostolate initiatives!
